Your brand is your promise to your customer. It tells them what they can expect from your products and services, and it differentiates your offering from that of your competitors. Your brand is derived from who you are, who you want to be, and who people perceive you to be.
BITCHIN'
BILTONG.
Bitchin’ Biltong is biltong for dogs of all breeds and sizes. Different sizes of containers, each with a controlled amount of biltong inside, will be recommended for different sizes of dogs on the side of in-store display units. The size guide is a simple infographic, laying out what size of container or portion of biltong would be suitable for your dog’s weight in kg. It is strategically placed on an in-store display unit.
This project was done following the guidelines set out in the Goldpack 2021 student brief document by Propak Africa.
Bitchin' Biltong is an eco-friendly product when keeping in mind that the packaging is made from sustainably sourced materials, reusable and recyclable!
A lot of attention was given when designing the packaging for this product, as well as making it part of a competition for the users of the product.
ESCAPE
THE RING
- STUDENT EXHIBITION.
The Graphic Design department at the Eduvos Pretoria campus was an absolute circus. Some days, the students were having a blast and laughing like the spectators at any circus. Other days, the students were like the overworked and grunting staff of the circus, having to stay busy and on top of things, especially in the week of submission.
This exhibition brand showcases exactly that. "Escape the ring" is a dare to fellow designers, students, (and of course, the audience) to be different, to express themselves, and to escape the dreaded ring of boringness and uniformity that is the outside world.
A series of certificates were designed to act as recognition of performance for the top students of each year from Level 1 to Level 3. Social media platforms were also mocked up with posts regarding the exhibition as well as an invitation design.
